Editorial policy

We distinguish specifications reported by primary sources from calculations, estimates and editorial assessments, and make that distinction clear to readers.

01

Four types of statements

FACT — a specification found in a current primary source: a supplier listing, an official specification or manufacturer documentation.

CALCULATION — the result of a transparent formula with stated inputs. It is not a specification of an individual machine.

ESTIMATE — a range for preliminary planning. It must be checked against the specific model, premises and local requirements.

EDITORIAL — a practical interpretation by the PRECISION ROAST team based on the data compared.

02

How the equipment is checked

We record the source URL, seller's legal name, model, date checked and visible specifications. Unknown values remain null; we do not fill gaps with guesses.

  • conflicting attributes are marked separately
  • Prices are stored in the shown currency without hidden recalculation
  • listing status does not mean availability in stock
  • A written commercial offer is required before purchase
03

How products are selected

Inclusion means that a product is relevant to the page and has enough traceable data. It is not a quality ranking or a guarantee of the supplier.

  • a relevant batch-capacity range
  • an identifiable model and company
  • visible key characteristics
  • current source at the date of inspection

Corrections and updates

If a source changes, a listing disappears or a specification proves incorrect, we update the record's status and date. Significant corrections to calculations or assessments are recorded in the content and research log.

  • Contact for comments: editorial@precisionroast.ru
  • each product record includes a verifiedAt field
  • Inaccessible goods do not remain active without marking
